To align with the organization’s five year strategy, this multi-faceted business unit’s leadership team prioritized a project to develop its five year business plan to guide 400+ home office and field-based clinical, medical and regulatory teams.
As lead consultant, in close partnership with the functional head of the strategic planning process and rest of the leadership team, designed and facilitated a six month business planning process involving all levels of management and key stakeholders, while purposefully developing leadership team successors and high potentials as an operational team key to informing and working through each part of the process.
The business planning process was fully executed including leadership, core team, operational team and all manager offsites, approvals to the organization’s executive team, and rollout to the entire business unit. Each of those milestones was supported by project management, learning, and communication deliverables. A metrics dashboard and clear accountabilities still track progress vs. this plan.
